At Mason Jar Merchant we have a unique opportunity to spread the joy of mason jars! Our mission is to educate and connect with first-time shoppers, introduce them to our wonderful products, answer questions and maintain an environment they can't wait to come back to.
Our first priority is always our customers, however, as with any small business, there are always a LOT of other exciting tasks to tackle.
Your duties will range from keeping up with inventory management and restocking; making sure that products look great on shelves in-store; as well as helping maintain our online storefronts. Plus, if you're creative or crafty – this job is for you! We make many products right in store which allows us to offer an unrivalled level of quality control.
Joining our team means becoming an integral part of a very special community. We require you not only have to possess excellent attention-to-detail and organizational skills, but also bring the warmth & enthusiasm needed to create a positive environment in our small store space!
Self-motivation and dedication is a must - we provide task lists but you must have the intrinsic drive to work on building up our business even when not serving customers.
From product development to social media and email blasts, blog posts, photography, printing, crafting, shipping, you name it, we do it all in house. There are significant opportunities to grow with us as we grow.
We are currently hiring for 1x ~20 hour per week team member or 2x ~10 hours per week team members with hours increasing as we get closer to summertime.
Reliable transportation is also required as well as being able to commit two weekends each month.
